how many times a week?

All it takes is an eager partner. My wife wasn't, until last year.

We have had more intercourse in the past year (2014) than in the previous nine combined (2005-13).

That's as far back as I have records.

 

if its not too personal, i'd be terribly curious to know more about the lost time and how you got to the other side of it. Or if it already exists in a thread somewhere, could you point me to it?

The "lost time" is pretty simple, even overdetermined.

Here are four of the reasons: (1) Technologically crude early-1970s surgery for severe endometriosis left a mess of scar tissue, which could not be safely removed. (2) Failed infertility treatment in the 1990s left a terrible impact on her body image. (3) SSRI antidepressants are deadly for libido. (4) Not-having-sex causes a vicious cycle of resentment and noncommunication, leading to more not-having-sex.

How we got to the other side? I'll write about that one of these days.

 

I'm lucky I found someone willing to indulge my high sex drive , he does find it too much sometimes and I've learnt to read the signs that he's just not in the mood, but thankfully it's not often so it works out well for us.

 

I enjoy sex but am not chained to the idea. once a week makes me happy, hold on.....is this the bragging but nobody really knows thread? well then 7 days a week people God knows we got nothing better to do with our minds and bodies.

 

My mind is usually chaotic with my job and running a household and managing two teenagers , what he does with my body is the thing that usually destresses me. I'd be happy with 7 days but I've got to let him rest now and again

We aren't having sex right now. Not sure when it will happen again.

 

Every 3-4 months, at the best once a month but not usually that. Husband has testosterone problem.

 

You mean, like, not this very minute, or not at all?

 

I take Testosterone shots, might be something to look into

 

There is also the option of androgel packs. One of the clients I work with gets those.
