    This could have been an interesting thread, and I think we have discussed it before.

    Selling stuff or the religious angle isn't the way to change it, but I do think a real scientific study that takes into account different people's personalities and how much they watch/download is taken into account. Just like Kinsley did the sex habits study in the 50's a new one should look at how it affects single people's lives (positively and negatively) and couple's relationships (positively and negatively). As well as how much real life sex they are getting, along with the culture they are living in and how accepting they are of nudity and sexually suggestive ads/whatever. Are people who earn more money less likely to download/watch a lot of porn? Does getting into a relationship with someone who watches 10-20 hours a week bring that amount down?
