How do you lose a plane?

No. But last week when my girlfriend asked what airline I was using to get to Oregon I told her "Malaysian Air... Why?" She about fainted. Pretty sure they don't do a Merida to Portland run.

Wonder if the locks will be changed when I get home?

 

You would think she would be used to your sense of humor by now.

 

Sarcasm doesn't seem to be common, often it's not even acceptable. Near as I can tell it's cultural. So she's in her late thirties and just hasn't been exposed to it other than when she's around me.

Offensive language, in Spanish is another big one. I can say mother fucker, she understands it just fine, doesn't bother her at all. If I say, in Spanish, "kiss my ass," does not go over well. And no its not that I'm telling her "besame culo" or even directing it to her. She hears it and it grates on her. But "kiss my fucking ass you miserable cunt" is perfectly fine.

 

These guys have a theory that sounds as rational as any.

I particularly like the slideshow of "MH370 Conspiracy Theories" in the middle of an article that amounts to a conspiracy theory.

 

No. Their theory is that one of the pilots deliberately crashed the plane. Conspiracy requires at least two people.

its odd due to the fact its an Airbus. The most up to date aircraft offered in Europe, comparable to Boeings Dreamliner. The technology aboard that plane means they will find it or it was stolen.

 

If you wanted to steal a plane, aren't there easier ways than hijacking it in flight?

 

It'd be hard to just tow it away from the airport

 

But it wouldn't freak people out nearly as much.
