How do I get so far in life without knowing....

See...these soft skills are the one that people keep "growing" until even death.

The easy ones...it's either you know it...or you don't...it's either useful or its not.
But these...they are so profoundly grey and situational...it's surreal.
There IS no absolute...but yet, if you figure out the subtle aspects...and play it better...the benefits are significant.

But even books or Subject Matter Experts can only guide or speak on generalities.
And it's up to you to be aware...gain skill, no one says..."do this" in this situation. And those that do, they're not always right.
I've found they announce "do it THIS WAY", "it is THAT WAY" rhetorically.
But when you ask them about a specific situation, they don't have the answer...nor are willing to even speculate with REAL confidence. (not bravado)

Here's another...Right & Wrong.
It impacted me profoundly recently...I did the Right thing, I did what they said they wanted.
But when I did...I got hurt...the impact on me was terrible. Although it was still Right by most people's definitions, the consequences were bad.
So, should I have done the Right thing?
Did I do it the wrong way?
Did I do it the wrong time?
Everyone agrees ethically it was Right, morally it was Right...but politically it was Wrong, logistically it was Wrong.
Sure they are likely to suffer themselves in time...
But I'm suffering for it immediately...with cascading impact.

We are hopefully learning where and how to apply these skill constantly.
Some have the knack, some don't
Some are aware, some aren't
