My first username "Scud7313" comes from the cult comic book Scud: The Disposable Assassin." It's the name and serial number of the robotic main character. I dropped the digits after the upgrade to TFP because no one (even me) ever used them. My avatar and sig come from the same series.

As I recall, I temporarily had an obsession with a book in the Myst series that had a character named Ti'ana. I thought it was a wonderful name and started using it as an alias online. Eventually, it ended up morphing into Nikkiana because my name's Nikki... and it just so happens my middle name is Ann, so Nikkiana just sorta made sense as a prettified alternative of my first and middle names.

"clavus" is a specific type of hysteria. It is characterized by the feeling of nails being driven into the head.

    I have a headache.

    Ta DA!

I used to have a longer username. I grew up and it didn't mean anything to me anymore, so I abbreviated.

I was into all sorts of pagan things when I first registered with AOL back when I was 25 yrs old. I wanted a dreamy floaty name that sounded soft and cuddly. I also love anything to do with the moon. It's a bit of a mouthful and I do get sniggers when I have to tell people my email addy.
I can remember logging into AOL, going downstairs putting the kettle on and making a cuppa, going outside for a ciggy before drinking said coffee and even then the dial up hadn't connected.
