Goodbye, uncle phil (NSFW - he would have wanted it that way)

I've been following this thread, but haven't said anything yet. I think I know what I'd like to say now...

Phil, I've been in and out of this place for a very long time. I've never gotten to know you very well personally, but this place and these people have always been there for me and have always meant a lot to me. You're a huge part of the TFP and it wouldn't be the same without you.

I thank you for having a hand in what has been created here and you have all of my hope and support in your corner.

cynthetiq left the country for 2 weeks... he'd been phoning the uncle phil family so IDK if we'll get one for awhile...I really would love an update, too!

 

I read Marilyn's post today on the Caring Bridge journal and she said he has a lot of family around him, but can't speak to well any longer. He is comfortable, not feeling any pain.
But I'm sure she will stop in soon, so I won't say to much.

Marilyn said for people just to PM her and she'd give login details for Phil's page on the Caring Bridge site, where there are more details.

 

I found a pic of Marilyn Monroe signing a poster for Uncle Phil to keep him company. How cool is that.

 

Wanted to dedicate one more Photoshop for Uncle Phil to capture his awesomeness.

 

The first one I noticed in that group is Lynda Carter.

 

The only other one of importance (aside from Uncle Phil himself, naturally) is Raquel Welch, because I like to think it's not out of the question that he might have bagged either or both of them back in the day.

Concur - anyone with the Caring Bridge access that can give an update? I didn't ask for access initially, and I don't know if this is a good or bad time to ask Marilyn, so I'd rather fall on the side of respectful courtesy, but I'd love to know how phil's situation is evolving. He's in my thoughts - ye olde tfp strikes again. Here's to you phil - I'll have a beer for you tonight.
