Game of Thrones *spoilers*

Anyone think Nymeria might make a reappearance at some point? There seemed to be a suggestion of it in one of the later books.

 

I think she has to. Arya still has the wolf dreams, so we know she's still out there. But I'm scared, because there are a LOT of loose ends to tie up.

I like the choice they made to replace Edric Storm with Gendry. That subplot will have more weight if it's a character we already know and care about. Good choice on their part.

They've really done a superb job of adapting the books. The only thing I feel like they really missed was Sam killing the Other. That bit is too important not to be part of the show.

These "Other" characters sound interesting. Showing a teaser glimpse in the first chapter and keeping them out of the story after that until some point I have yet to reach was a good move.

 

If you wake up after being tortured only to find yourself being helped down to two beautiful women who get naked and want to have sex with you, you are going to have a bad time. And I think Theon is going to be a future eunuch, right?

 

I loved the scene between my favorite BAMF Tywin and his grandkid King Shitface. He kept saying "Your Grace" and all I heard was "Fuck you". Charles Dance MAKES the character come alive. The presence he puts out when he decides to walk up the stairs of the throne room is room-leveling. I love the fact GRRM wrote the scene, so it makes me happy that's how he would see a conversation between them if either one of them were POV characters in the book.

 

I was (as you do) watching "For Your Ears Only" (you know, Bond, James Bond), and who should appear but a very young Tywin Lannister!

 

Yeah the interaction between Tywin and Joffrey was excellent. The kid playing Joffrey is a pretty good actor IMO, his facial expressions show how Joffrey in one moment thinks he's in total control and the head honcho, and then Tywin smacks him in the face with his lion's cock and Joffrey turns into cowardly little bitch.

It was fun watching Theon get tortured for a few episodes, but this is starting to drag on a bit long, and the threesome torture scene was very predictable.

God Sansa is so stupid. But I guess in a book where everyone is plotting and planning you need to have at least one dimwit.

I still want to see Danny's new assistant naked. Preferably in a lesbian scene with Danny.

Also that was cool how they ended the episode with the Lannister theme song playing.

 

I'm not sure I'd call her stupid, but definitely unprepared for being in the outside world without any support. She really is just trying to survive. A lamb amongst the wolves.

 

She's the only one in the entire kingdom who believes Loris is straight.

I agree Gorgo..but they have highlighted the dragonglass knife that he is carrying so I think he'll have to use it at some point. The problem is he has to have people around to see to start calling him the "the Slayer". So I think he'll end up using it so he knows what it can do and then in the future he'll be able to tell his Black Watch brother's how to defeat the white walkers. Only time will tell... I do love the books and the show.
