    This is one effed-up series.
    I saw the pilot episode when it first came out on an HBO free weekend, and most of these episodes they showed this free weekend.
    I have no idea whom to root for.
    Is there an actual good guy?

    On another note, I find the blond amazon knight lady strangely attractive.
    Anybody know her name?

    Very happy to see Barristan Selmy show up as himself. IMO, it is a really good idea to trim Daenerys' story wherever possible and least painful. There wasn't a need for the mysterious hooded man from the books who turned out to be Selmy to be brought to the TV show.
