The vintage drug ads are amusing now, but back in the '50s and early '60s I had an aunt who kept a well-stocked home pharmacopoeia that included everything imaginable.


When I was very young a neighbor died because he rubbed DDT directly on his body. IIRC DDT was found to cause birth defects.

 

Now for pervy,

Tape worms. They're sanitized, and easy to swallow.

But first you might need something to settle your nerves.
