    I remember both equally well. More fondness with the sex, because the guy who kissed me was awful and awkward and turned out to be more than a little insane. The first sex was only a little more painful (har har) but it was with someone immensely more amazing and sane. I married him.

    Very true...but I mean past the initial and at times difficult first time(s).
    Where people aren't sincere...they have their own agenda...deceiving themselves much less others...and so on.
    Why can't people just play it straight??


    a first kiss and first sex can be challenging enough without all the BS that people add to it.

    I remember both my first kiss and first sex about the same! I remember where I was, who was there, around what time it was but not the date for both.

    I don't know that my experiences were insincere. I would just say that they were the actions of someone who wasn't really emotionally ready for sex. I was about 15. It was what I thought I wanted. It should have been fun, but it was just a mess and embarrassing (long story).

    The one thing it did do was remove the mystery and pressure. It was a few more years before I had sex again, and when I did, it was awkward (first time sex with anyone tends to be a bit awkward) but it got better quickly.

    Speaking of agendas... It's amusing now to look back at when I was in high school with a small town reputation. The guys wanted me to drink, so I would get drunk and then fuck. It seems like some guys assume girls, or at least high school girls, will only lose their inhibitions and "put out" when they are drunk.:rolleyes:

    I didn't need to get drunk to fuck when I was 16, and even now, at least most of the time, being drunk will put me off of the idea. Unless I'm really horny, then I'm still horny even if I'm drunk, but I even then I don't want a drunk partner. Which I am now.

    But I'm had some good Scotch and am feeling kind of drunk now, which remidnd me of high school boys. My partner is out of town til Saturday, so I'm enjoyying the company of Mr. Glenn Livit from the Highlands.:)
