Favourite Film Scenes

The movie as a whole is very good, but not particularly one of my favorites, except for this scene. One of my favorites in any movie. The way they play off each other is just brilliant.

 

His Girl Friday from 1940 starring Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell. The dialogue is sharply written, flawlessly executed especially when frequently overlapping, and the story moves along at a perfect pace that never lets up. I have had it in my DVD collection for years now. Ranks up there with Arsenic and Old Lace on the list of Cary Grant classics.

And two scenes from the 1997 film Titanic . The part where Jack drowns in the (75+ degrees in Mexico) water and drops out of sight. Yes I was one of the guys who gave a cheer when I watched it in the movie theatre.
The other one I really liked was at the end where Rose's soul/spirit/whatever term applies goes down to the wreck and the transition fades from the wreck to the fully intact look with all of the spirits of those who drowned on her greeting Rose.

Another great battle. Notice the "reinforced square" that successfully turned the tide of the zombie wars in World War Z.....

 

Listening to Steve Martin sing and play banjo reminded me of this great film that I would add here in entirety as well, but this scene was the one that just popped into my head:
