On topic, I like the idea of dressing snappy but in reality I fit pretty much the stereotypical image of an IT worker. Ponytail, two day scruff, tshirt and jeans to every occasion. Yup.

I don't have any nice suits. Every once and a while I think about it but my weight changes so much and so often that there's no point. I don't want to drop the kind of cash it takes to get a decent suit when I'm fairly sure it won't fit me in six months. Maybe if I can maintain a consistent weight for a year I'll consider it.

HOT TIP: If you put the time into thrift store shopping, money doesn't have to be a big issue. The best suit jacket I ever owned, I spent $8 on. We have a great network of Value Villages, Goodwills and Salvation Army(ies?) in the GTA. The 3 of us should do a day...split an Autoshare rental and hit them all.
