Do you use Twitter?

I just read everything. I think I have 2 tweets. How do I find y'all?

 

I resisted as long as I could.

With a new emphasis at work on social media, I finally started tweeting last month but just work-related stuff.

 

I, too, resisted as long as I could. I have posted two tweets, and I have no intention of inundating the ether with a rushing geyser of every hollow thought that drifts out of my mind. But, as of a few moments ago, I do now follow @TiltedForum and I shall follow some of the folk here who choose to make public their handles as well.

I had a twitter for a while, but I never used it so I shut 'er down.

 

Twitter is too fast-paced for me. I like to sit down, relax and read longer texts. Unlike previous posters in this thread, I never felt any urge to join Twitter, nor am I "holding out" from joining. Don't see the appeal in it.

Also, Facebook is really the most I'll do with social media. Mostly to keep in touch with friends and family all over the globe.

 

I have to say, I really love my Facebook. Most of my personal social media is there.

I casually look over tweets from time to time, and every now and then if I'm at a concert or a conference or something, I'll live tweet the event, and from time to time I post teaching tweets on Jewish subjects, or links to one of my blogs, or some other matter of professional relevance. But I don't do much in the way of personal tweeting, though I have a few people I enjoy following.

 

I presume so, or it's a convincing impostor. I don't know who it is, but someone is tweeting upon it.

 

No Twitter for me, no social media at all.

I don't feel that I have anything that interesting to share, & I really don't care what other folks are up to. There are, of course, exceptions, but they are rare.

Share, care, & rare . And I'm not a fan of poetry.

 

Looks like it has been hacked. The updates chronicle someone's game-playing and some of the photos would/could attract porn hounds.

 

Yes, for work related stuff. I don't love it, but it seems to help. As far as a personal account, I have one, but use it mostly to catch up on things I find interesting or relevant to my likes/interests.

 

Yuh, I hadn't seen anything other than game-playing BS that I never bothered to look at, but I was hoping there would be some actual content forthcoming. Ah well. Unfollowed.

 

Still love Twitter. I don't post as much as I once did but I read my feed on a regular basis for all sorts of Toronto related commentary. It's been especially useful for all the news that is our disastrous mayor.

 

I used it long back. But I dont have strong opinions, I don't take sides, so I don't really follow anyone. Perhaps I am not a tweety after all.
So I used facebook a lot.
Now after seeing how the friendlist had blown big and thin(!) my facebook time also has reduced

I guess I am wandering searching a place that makes me feel belong... Long back my uncle told me I will have all I wanted, will go places, will achieve great heights, but will never be happy and contended. Something about my horoscope...

 

I am not a part of any social media platform. As far as Twitter goes, I feel like 140 characters isn't enough for me to fully express myself.

Anyway, Twitter. Nope, can't say I have an account but I also can't say I wouldn't read some, at times.

 

How about new topics that new members could have access to (be able to read)?
