    Large City, TX
    In our area you basically have to donate books in order to get rid of them. The education & literacy levels are low, and many folks barely speak English, much less read it. Those are statements of fact, not judgements or criticism.

    FWIW, I think a "Swap Meet" thread is a good idea.

    My most recent side hustle is making "medicinal" treats and selling them at the park to all of the drunk/stoned hipsters. I heard of a guy clearing around $500/day.

    Starting up my business again...focusing on Hardware/Software development...partnering with other firms. (I need their resources to do it right)
    And Data Analysis/Data Science
    And Data Security (beyond perimeter... Encryption, Standards, Protocol, Auditing, Hardening, Testing)
    And Environment cleanup/Legacy Optimization. (Get it from glutted chaos, to lean and mean)

    Also consulting for other contracting firms, who'd like to use my expertise to interpret bids and help flesh out with real tech know-how
    Estimate staffing and budget for those bids for large scale contract.
    I don't want to hustle myself or do it FT...but I don't mind giving my SME input for a piece of the pie.

    I want the HW/SW dev partnerships to bring in a pool of money with residuals. (The HW invention should be HUGE...and long term)
    Then I can invest into staffing for the other verticals.
    And the consulting will be nice for the periodic hit and influx of money.
    Once I get it really going...the Data Analysis group should be the real big winner...tons of money there, seen it. (hand over fist, think "Suits" :cool: )

    Signing the comp contracts for the consulting.
    Getting the govt paperwork done for the biz.
    Working on the legal lock-down paperwork for the HW/SW partnerships. (don't want them running away with the ideas...)

    And yes...this is "side" off-hours until the oil well drilling hits.
