To echo what Borla said above: The Doctor does not have a more accurate pregnancy test than what you get at the drugstore nowadays. The OTC pregnancy tests are highly accurate.

If it isn't the OP that got her pregnant, there might be some other dude who learned about how babies are made in sex ed class and did it the old fashioned way.

forgot to add one more thing ; the doctor has given her some medication to get her periods , so could this be the reason for a false positive ?

 

ok everyone, i added the word "pregnant" to the thread title, because well.. i too thought that @axiom125 got a gf through fingering...at a bus stop.

in all seriousness though, there's about zero chance she's pregnant ( but still not impossible), but there's a good chance she's cheating on you.

you should both see a Dr.

sperm dies pretty quickly once you've shot them out. thats why its best to do a sperm test at the doctors in those little containers instead of at home because once you do get to the doctors, theres a good chance that most would be dead, immotile or dying and they dont get good readings of your sperm count.

so for you to go about your business, spreading your sperms to other humans, there's a good chance there's not much left to pass on once you finally decided to get jiggy with your gf.

if you think you got her prognant whil fingering her....think of it this way...

you know those tough mudder / spartan races they organise these days which seem to be the latest marketing fad? well your little boys went through a whole tough mudder marathon!

now looks look at the maths

an average male ejaculates lets say 20 million sperms per ejaculate. assuming that 50% at immoltile, your left with 10,000,000 good ones. Of those that made it on to your finger, lets assume it was a slight touch, and you managed to get 10% of all sperm on your finger, your left with 1,000,000 swimmers on that finger.. you then wiped it off.. assuming you managed to wipe off 80% off your finger, and assuming theres still some live ones undeaneath your finger nails, then that means you have 200,000 sperms on that finger of yours.

you then went away for an hour or so and spread those tadpoles to your friends/colleagues/family etc.... assuming that over a period of an hour 70% of them died or became incapacitated, then your left with 60,000 good sperms on that finger of yours.

you then decided to stick 60,000 tired sperms up her vagina who had gone through a few marathons already, and asked them to attack the mother ship... they're more likely to take a break and nap a little while than charge at full speed..most will fall by the wayside galantly..

but like some of us have said, you do only need JUST ONE little fucker to make it... some little nut thats going to be the next Kilian Jornet of Ultra Running, and you're totally screwed.

what im trying to say is..its highly impossible that she's pregnant from you..but if she's got an infection, it could be from an STD, but she could still be pregnant.. so here's to that i say! maybe its good and well you only fingered her or you may both be on anti-biotics

for the record, ask any urologist and theyll tell you that with 60,000 tired sperms its almost impossible for someone to impregnate their partner. how do you know so much you ask? because the urologist told me with my sperm count, there's little to no chance id have kids...but guess what? ive got two little gremlins.. who would have thought huh?

 

I don't see why that wouldn't be possible, especially if you had exceptionally strong fingers.

 

Point of order.

In a former job, I was responsible for product quality and regulatory compliance at a company that made hcg pregnancy tests.

They were available retail to the public otc, and were available wholesale to medical professionals. Same tests.

Doctors use the same 2 for a dollar tests you see in the budget pharmacy store.

They are very senitive (low false negatives), and very specific (low false positives).

However, they all have a lower detection limit, and it's generally not possible to detect enough hormone even in a pregnant woman until two to three weeks after the presumed date of conception. This is usually four to six days after a missed period.

To be sure of getting the highest level of hormone in a sample, do the following.

1) do not drink loads to help you pee - it dilutes the hormone and makes a false negative likely

2) do not test too soon - wait a few more days. Seriously. Trust me.

3) only ever, EVER test the urine that built up overnight. Being in the bladder for hours allows the maximum level of hormone to build up in the urine.

4) test again, three days later, whatever result you got. Early negatives cant be trusted, and early positives "fail" ~25% of the time, due to the blastocyst not implanting.

 

Maybe she gets worked up giving you a hand job and while you are looking for a beer she rubs one off.

I stand by what I posted.

have no answer for that question of yours , apparently she had some sort of bleeding yesterday and it turned out to be different than her usual periods , she told me that it was light in color and the amount of blood discharged was less as well , i'm presuming its due the infection.

 

would like to add an update here , she had bleeding today as well but the difference was that the amount of discharge was more but the color being the same

A healthy person's urine is sterile. Better advice would be to wash your hands before eating.
