    me

Just had to vent a little, as I just got screwed...again, and I didn't even enjoy it...:(
Jeez, this is the umpteenth time this has happened to me, and I always think that it will work out for me in the long run...and guess what, it doesn't and I get screwed again...darn it. I have to learn to shut the heck up. I try to believe in karma, I really do....but...nothing has happened for me yet. Alright, I'm blabbing too much now, I guess this is a topic for another thread. Continue on with the cool quotes. Cheers.

I heard this on the Aircraft Carrier 14 years ago or so from a shipmate and wrote it down. Never have agreed with it in any way but it was certainly was memorable.

Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea...

    - Douglas Noel Adams
