Current Rules for Being Clothed/Naked as an Adult

I enjoy being naked. We've just come through a pretty cold winter, so the opportunity has not really presented itself recently. But come summertime, I'll hang out in the house with just a shorts and flipflops.

I'm pretty comfortable with my body, even though I'm about 15kg's overweight right now. My philosophy is "If you don't like what you see, don't look". And if you like it, at least whistle or something.

If I lived alone, I'd likely be in various states of undress most of the time. I not only live with my wife and kids but we also have live in help. I don't think our housekeeper really wants to see me naked.

Added to this is the fact that our new place has windows everywhere and, in the downstairs, no window coverings.

 

I love the feeling of naked skin. Skinny dipping feels so natural. A breeze feels fresh. The sun makes me feel hot. Rain makes me feel cleansed.

 

It's odd, I have a 9 and an 11 year old daughter, so I generally cover up the unit in the house, but if it's warm enough, that's it. Until recently, not even that. My take on it is, (mostly) kid, get over it. Until recently, I did not go out of my house without a shirt (and pants). Lately I don't care. If I am going to get hot and sweaty, the shirt is optional.

When it's cold, I will wear socks to bed. That's it. When it's warm, I never wear anything. It's uncomfortable.

 

Never naked except in bathroom. But love to be just in boxers. Always wear a long pant and shirt/tshirt when there are guests. Honestly Not that comfortable when naked men around. Mostly because not used to it. But I guess it would be absolutely fine if there are girls naked around. Again I live in situations there are mostly children and/or parents around so no chance......

 

Naked is good. Love it around the house. Always sleep nude (unless it's really, really cold). Outside is good too if there isn't a crowd. Swimming nude...very good. Sitting in the sand naked requires a towel to sit on.

 

I've answered the door with no shirt on before in the summer. Id probably hang out around the house in just boxers if I didn't have to worry about the other people I live with and it was warm enough

I think Id like to be naked in a belt, being naked is just so final and there's nothing to adjust, plus it gives you a better place to put your hands (im a guy so I don't have much hips... and as a girl once told me, ironically a small bodied asian girl, I have a small ass)

PS. I've never cared much for suspenders, but some people have said they preferred them...
I'm not sure if naked in suspenders would work, with the lack of pants to attach them to, depending on what, if anything, you decide to attach them to instead

 

I'm never naked enough... I'm basically confined to being naked behind the locked doors of bathrooms or bedrooms. I wouldn't ever wear cloths if I could.

 

I'm such a prude that I shower with my clothes on.

On a related note, it helps cut down on laundry.

There's nudist camp not far from here. Sunny Glades. Everyone knows about it but no one knows where it is exactly. I guess that's the way they like it. Otherwise cars would probably be constantly coming up the road and turning around, "Whoops, wrong turn. Look at that! Run away, run away." Once the kids are grown up and moved away I hope my wife will think about us buying a trailer and finding that place.

How much of the comfort level in being naked in front of other people, especially the opposite sex, is tied into a persons body image? I'm very comfortable in my own skin with either sex. A contributing factor in my attitude toward nudity is that my mother is a nurse and was always very matter of fact about incidental nudity ... no none else in my family is a prude either. I think that my upbringing was realistic and psychologically healthy.

 

Frankly my curiousity towards nudity is to look at nude girls. Nudity at home is very very tough and I would never try that. But I would love to travel to nude beaches and resorts once in a while, if possible with family. It could be fun and even some sort of theraphy LOL

I am in Portland, how much of nudity happens here? Are there safe nudity areas? Like beaches, parks, resorts?
How many nudists are in Tfp? I want to make some nudist friends

 

For the first time ever I have a Bathrobe (that my daughters gave me as a Xmas present. Probly so that they didn't have to see me flapping in the breeze every morning when I came downstairs for coffee.)


So while I generally prefer nudity, right now I am diggin the robe.
