    Let's have a Trump check.

The Biden team was excluded from an important Covid-19 strategy meeting.

Trump's administration turned down the opportunity to buy additional vaccinations from Pfizer. Which, I think, included an option for first chance at additional doses.

Counselori Giuliani has covid, and has been hospitalized.

Trump's response as to why Biden's team was excluded from the summit:
The next administration has yet to be determined.

    Asshole.

Further proof: The executive order for vaccinations in the USA first. It's symbolic, we don't (currently?) have enough of a US produced vaccination to share.

    I’ve got various allergies too
Especially one that affects the lungs

I’m wary of the Pfizer one because they haven’t been as transparent as Oxford or Moderna trials.

So it’s something to be aware of
I don’t want to be a guinea pig

Not that many Americans even have passports. I would bet that sporting events might be a bigger thing that gets people vaccinated that might not want it.

The US is actually adopting universal socialized medicine when it comes to the Covid vaccine. It will be free to everyone and our tax money already bought the medicine.

The vaccination has emergency use clearance and is shipping.

I'm low risk, and will probably be part of the last group to get vaccinated...unless my wife being a teacher is factored in. ???????

A thought: If Conman had taken the corona virus seriously in late January, would have the vaccination(s) been ready before the election? Or did the pharmaceutical companies see the issue immediately and work as quickly as they could?

    General question,

The anti vaccine's folks. Will they take it? or risk it?
Will it be one of those things everyone will be forced to take it wether it be from the government, peoples work, kids schools etc....

    My best guess...

The government, in the broad sense, can't force people to get vaccinated. However, great pressure cab applied by schools and employers.

Schools have a long record of successful "vaccinate or stay home" policies.

Employers will probably be allowed a "You have the right to refuse being vaccinated, we have the right not to employ you" policy.

The legal area is gray, but sometimes you have to twist arms. Deny them employment, treat their unemployment as voluntary i.e. no unemployment benefits.

I know alot of schools will not let kids attend without certin vaccines.

and i agree with the workplace, but how many people will try to sue because of it.

Its just going to be a clusterfuck but thats what i think

The legal battles over Covid-19 are going to be epic.

One action could be blanket protection from covid lawsuits. One major issue is that protection would cover the flagrant violators as well as the companies that did everything they could.

Suppose you ran a small business and followed all of the regulations, and ended up going under. While some of your competitors cheated and survived the pandemic. And you have no legal recourse. The people who worked for the cheaters, who were exposed, who got sick, have no legal recourse.

I can tell you the employees of Academy Sports Outdoors could bury the company. Academy was declared an essential business, which seems correct, but ASO did nothing for their employees in the early going. It took a very long time for Academy to establish safety procedures.

And the same ^ could be said for thousands of businesses.

I am also in the back of the line, even more so than normal healthy people because I have the biohazard gear to go in public safely already and not fear getting sick.

I'm not sure what the policy will be and how it is decided when someone is approved to get the vaccine in the large number of healthy people yet though. I would hope that they would factor in things like how many people are in your household, how many cases are in the community now, and how much risk you are in from your spouses exposure risk.

But that is asking a lot.

Honestly, there should be a website like the Census setup for people to answer some questions just like that, and then it will schedule the time and place for you to get the first and second shots. It will also keep track of how the distribution is going.

It has nothing to do with T
This is a global issue, all countries are gunning for it
Actually, they have developed and tested in an extremely fast time.
    Months is unprecedented
    Usually it take years

What T did wrong was play it off
Promotion of unsafe and unworthy methods and meds
Be against protection to role his base and be positive
And created an inconsistent mindset and spin, leaving the whole burden on the states.

But as far as the antivirus, he was hands off on development and testing.

There IS a debate whether he didn’t purchase enough AstraZenica...but that was still testing and there were some holds here and there.
    I can’t 2nd guess circumstance here.
As much as I’d like to...but I’m real.

We now have 3 antivirus ready to rock
    Started in March til now
    That’s an incredible turnaround

Let’s hope they’re as effective as said
And safe within the greater population of the world

I still have to wonder if the vaccination(s) would've been available sooner with early full support from Trump.

But it certainly sounds like pharmo industry was on this as quickly & efficiently as possible.
