Luckily, new boss is following guidelines and we are going 10 days from symptom onset as long as I am not still sick. Relieved!!

Maybe you should get a second test if there is a testing site near you?

This would be true for many illnesses, if it continued
I had to do it for the flu last February
    First go around didn’t work
My doctor did a better job killing it than the urgent care
It’s time to be proactive and cautious
Especially since the failure rate of CV tests are so high.

if they weren’t wanting to follow the guidelines and delay my start date, yes, I would. But at this point, I don’t wish to waste testing supplies. My oxygen level is fine, 3 thermometers say I don’t have a fever, and I seem to be slowly improving. I am just going to rest while I still can and keep communicating with my PCP if needed. I haven’t been short of breath except with exertion, which is normal when being sick imo, and my oxygen level has remained over 97% even in those instances. I may ask for an antibody test later if it still lingers, but once I was over the nausea/vomiting this is now no different than any other time I’ve had the flu or when I had mono 3 years ago.

I heard they are going to make 150 million tests in October, and while lab time might still be a concern, getting a correct diagnoses will help in the long run. Unless pre-existing condition protections go away, then it might be a problem...

I haven’t been short of breath through this whole thing except on exertion, and my oxygen level has been good. No symptoms of blood clots. I think it’s another seasonal crud (or two) hitting me while my immune system is already super taxed by stress and moving. I have had mono show up multiple times during periods of stress, so that could be it as well. I don’t think it’s COVID at this point and I don’t want to get another test “just in case” the first wasn’t correct. I would rather talk to my pcp about looking at mono more seriously. Thanks for the concern, but there are so many viruses out there that don’t have tests (read: the common cold), that I don’t feel I *need* an answer. What matters is that I’m getting well and my pcp will keep up with me I’m the future.

Well there's been research showing that quite a few people develop t-cell immunity and not antibodies, so the immunity might be higher than we think.

Either way, we’ve got a long way to go.
Most experts says that we’re likely not going to get ahead of it until they get an antivirus or 2 out and have a significant amount of people take it and gain some immunity from that.

Winter is going to be a beast
    Spring may hold some hope
Summer is the most likely time to normalize some
    But not 100%...but progress

The world is going to screw up more, going back and forth on openings, trying to restart and random neglect from both officials and people.
We’ll have to learn the hard way

Hopefully, we’ll learn to do it better next time
But I can guarantee you, if it’s another 100 years
    No one will remember anything
They’ll have to start all over
(Only benefit will be better medicine)

    People have short memories
And most do NOT study history to learn from
    It.
(Hey, it’s surprised me too...I’m not any better)

Let’s hope that the pharma industry is able to work some “real” magic and get it out sooner.
To our benefit, all of them are prepping like mad
Manufacturing is ready, docs and offices are focused and going to inoculate like an assembly line.

Me, I’m going to lag getting it just a bit...see if there’s any problem
Call me paranoid but I’ll do it maybe a month or so after

Are the reports that Conman Trump & trophy wife have tested positive for Corona virus? Quite a few legit news sources, NYT, CNN (& FOX) just to name three. are reporting it. Based on a tweets from Conman and Trophy Wife.

I hold back my true thoughts on this, wouldn't want to attract the unwanted attention of certain government agencies.

If this is a hoax done by Trump (I would not be one tiny bit surprised), he has sucked in even Republican controlled FOX News.

    Well, that’s an October Surprise
    And the month just started...

Just goes to show, denial of the crud, doesn’t help.
It doesn’t care what you believe

I wonder how much this will affect people’s mindset
    Especially his supporters

It’s almost like back in 1918, when President Wilson got it too, despite repressing the virus then.

CNN showed some interesting White House footage to illustrate how wide spread COVID-19 could be at the WH. So many educated and intelligent people packed in close together with few of them wearing masks.

The flagrant disregard for medical and scientific advice is disturbing.

Even with COVID-19 Conman Trump is flagrantly breaking the rules. His ride to wave to his supporters is going to have serious consequences for the Secret Service agents that rode with him.

Conman is unbelieveable. How in the hell was that arranged? Did anyone attempt to say "No" to him? I'd like to know if he broke any laws.

The White House has declined the CDC offer to conduct contact tracing. More denial, or are they scared of what might become public?

I do recall seeing footage of Kellyanne Conway (+) speaking intimately with William Barr, no masks of course. So perhaps there will be another positive from this.
