    Well yesterday.....

now we have a total of 8. 4 in parts and 4 in sales. that didnt take long. but it dosent take long.
we were told we could take 14 days without pay if we choose to (if you have PTO time you can use that) and lots of people elected to do that. problem is alot of people dont have that much time. I personally have 129 hours of available PTO time. i never really take time off, if i do i normally choose to do it with no pay (i get paid by what i do so i can make it up easily) im trying to hold onto it incase something worse happens and im not here. that way i can get paid. we were told if we test positive we WILL get paid for 2 weeks. so today is a new day so we will see. we have a meeting everyday at noon so my boss can tell us fact and what he knows that way it keeps down on rumors.

my wife has me getting naked in the garage when i get home and my clothes go in the washer and their is a bowl in the garage beside some hand sanitizer for the things in my pockets.

Stimulus checks arrived today. My work institution received 1.8 million deposits alone. Now our systems are crashed because our online banking and mobile app is overloaded. Call volume for telephone banking went up by 80% until things overloaded.

The people who piss me off to no end are the ones bitching about how the unemployment checks are too high.
These people who were laid off might actually make three quarters of what they made when they were working!
    This is a travesty!
They should be going out, getting a job at a grocery store so they can be exposed to COVID-19 like honorable people not sitting at home getting paid.
    Damned socialists.

    So fuck these people.

The 350B paycheck protection fund could be depleted by tonight, or tomorrow AM.

Financial institutions get to give existing customers priority preference for the funds.

People in Texas have to call for five days to reach a human to start the unemployment filing process.

Some business leaders and politicians are saying start going back to business as usual on May 01. Sacrificing lives to covid-19 for the sake of the economy is the lesser of two evils.

It's going to get worse before it gets better.

The unemployment offices here hired back a bunch of their retired people for a bunch of cash as specialists.
Get to work from home and make three times what you made on top of your retirement?
    Where do I sign?
I'm sure it is pretty stressful though, talking to lot of very stressed out people who have trying to get through for hours.\
They also have to train 150 temps who are being brought on without the standard long training.
The newbies are the ones I feel sorry for.

Our government thinks we are still weeks or months away from "business as usual". Queues outside the unemployment office and queues outside supermarkets are here to stay for a while yet. I was in my local shopping centre yesterday (at my office) and was watching the police telling people to go home. It is already a bit of a ghost town but law enforcement fining people for being out without reason is going to make it more so.

    She must have a reason...
    If you can, do it.
Ignorance is not bliss...in this case.
What ya don’t know, can kill ya. (or at least put you in a world of hurt)

And if you know, then you can take precautions.
    For you and your family.

Ive felt ok up til yesterday. woke up with a pounding headache. and still have it today. other than that i feel fine. just tired, but thats normal. the headache is more than likely due to the fucking pollen.

i think with her its more of wanting me to get tested because their are currently 10 cases here at work.

to be totally honest and i know i can do that here cause yall all love me. im kinda scared to get tested. i know that its no reason

    Get tested
The headache and tiredness are indications
And having that many cases, best to be sure
Remember, you’re protecting your family too.

Well me and the guy that work beside me we're going to go this afternoon but when we sat down at 1:30 to make an appointment there was no available slots for today tomorrow or Sunday. So I'm going to come in in the morning and try to set one for Monday. So we will see. Apparently I can go to my doctor and get tested but the results take five to seven days because of the weekend. And I know y'all are right I'm not just protecting myself but I am protecting my family as well that's why I decided to say fuck it and go get tested
