  1. Levite

    Levite Levitical Yet Funky

    Location:
    The Windy City
Little Levite adores Where The Wild Things Are, and also In The Night Kitchen. Mrs. Levite and I were noting to one another the other day that, if these were not classics of long endurance, there is no way they'd be published today, let alone become best sellers.

  2. BabySquirrel's Doctor hands out books at every well child visit. This is the one we got for her 18 month checkup:

Bedtime Kiss For Little Fish: Lorie Ann Grover, Debra Ziss: 9780545128230: Amazon.com: Books

She LOVES it. She makes me stay on the page with the Shark. I guess that's her favorite. Then she wants to go to the page with the octopus, Tako. I thought she was a genius and new the words to the book after only reading it once. She would point to it and say, "Deep, Deep, Deep." Those are the last three words in the book. Come to find out she has the same book at daycare and asks to read that a lot there too. Everyone in her class calls the octopus tako. She's teaching the world Japanese.
