If you haven't read this thread, or have but have forgotten the content (seriously ?), read it for the ladies comments regarding penis size. Or maybe someone, one of the ladies preferably, will offer a summary much better than mine.

Generally speaking, most women will say that size isn't that important as long as the guy is skilled, with some of the women saying an emotional attachment helps. They also say there is such a thing as too small and too large.

Now to the point of this post. Based on what I've seen & read, very limited personal experience: Not really, at least not length.

If she is going solo, and not "putting on a show" for her SO, the camera, etc., the evidence says no. Many women seem to only use about 4-6 inches of the toy. Of course there are exceptions. But the only time I've seen women seriously burying a large toy is in professional porn, promateur porn, or when they're "putting on a show." As for girth, manageable seems to be the rule, I don't see a lot of major stretching in the That-Looks-Really-Uncomfortable sense.

Now switching to very limited personal experience, one partner for over 30 years: The above ^. Depth isn't that important, girth needs to comfortable. There are times when she wants the very sizeable dildo for the stretching sensation, definitely doesn't want any cervix bumping, but it's not often.
