I'm partial to Werewolves (Lon Chaney Jr. NOT modern) and any B-movie monsters from the 50's-60's. Whenever TCM has a marathon, I'm parked in front of the TV.

The one that totally freaked me out? The THING (John Carpenter). When that guys head grew legs and crawled away. TOTAL FREAKOUT!

The Blob with Steve McQueen. The Blob sucked but the movies hilarious and campy. Gotta love it!!

What did you think of the remake? I quite liked it.

    Which remake?

Godzilla movies are remade on a regular basis. I thought the last one with Matthew Broderick sucked. Godzilla 1985 is okay, hell, it has Raymond Burr in it! LOL.

I'm partial to the Universal werewolf. Although I LOVED Werewolf of London with the "Dr. Pepper" guy :p

One of my favourite, probably lesser-known, cinematic vampires was Willem Dafoe's nosferatu in Shadow of the Vampire.

  7. I meant the remake of the Lon Chaney movie 'The Wolfman.' They used a more modern update of the anthromorphized wolf of the original rather than the typical hybrid creature that had become stock in trade ever since 'An American Werewolf In London.'

    Have you seen 'Dog Soldiers?'

Since you bring Godzilla up, there is another american remake currently filming in Vancouver. Looks like it might be good this time. The last american one would have been a decent movie.... if it hadn't been called Godzilla :)

  8. Has to be this fella - and those of his ilk. They are the worst monsters because they are hidden because they blend in with other people

He cant remember what he did with the body - although blood and bone was found in his living room
    His victim -

Last thing that little girl saw was likely that monsters face as he did whatever he did to her that meant disposing of the evidence of her body was the best thing for him to do in his own mind.
