For some reason I feel AHAVA gets overlooked a lot. I was talking to their PR lady about that this morning. Their products are SO good!!!!

So many new Wet n Wild palettes at CVS. And the individual shadows are on sale for like .88 cents. Woot woot.

This is technically complaining and bitching, but I feel the gravity of the situation will be more appreciated here.

I can't find my tube of NYX matte lip creme in Prague. I had to settle for Milan today. Still an awesome color, but not what I wanted. :(

    WHERE ARE YOU PRAGUEEEE

<3 my lip creams. I tried to explain to my husband once that they are like Pokemon--I have to catch them all! I've been really grooving on Ibiza lately.

    Ooooooh. I love their stuff.

Haven't used them since they first launched - I know they have good products, but other shiny things caught my eye by being more heavily marketed. It'll be fun to get reacquainted. They sure do smell delicious!

Their Kendi Oil is great for someone like me--sometimes I need a little more control on the ends, but I don't want to weigh them down completely. It works very well for that purpose.

You have curly hair, don't you?

It's not really curly, per se. It's thick and coarse, straight in the front, wavy in parts, and curly in the very back. You can read a comprehensive rundown of my ridiculous hair routine here, including all the products I typically use: The Care of Hair | The TFP

Holy new products, Batman! My local store just rolled out tons of new stuff. L'Oreal has come out with their own line of balm crayons; has anyone else tried these yet?

Spotted: NEW L'Oreal Glossy Balm Crayon Collection (with reader swatches)

I'm also interested in the L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur concealer. I'm waiting for L'Oreal to hit a sale. L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Concealer Review & Swatches | Musings of a Muse

Also, I was curious to know what kind of experience you ladies have had with Cover Girl's eyeshadow. I don't want to buy new eyeshadow unless I know I'm going to get mileage out of the pigment, but the Cover Girl quads are on sale right now, and I really like the look of a couple of them.

Don't know about cover girl shadows, but do know Walgreens has a great return policy if you're not happy with it.

  15. I've never been impressed with Covergirl eyeshadows, they always seemed to fade faster than my old standby, Loreal HIP. When I wore eye makeup I swore by Covergirl mascara, though.

I haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if this has been posted already. I recently picked up Glamglow Tinglexfoliate on a whim. Never been impressed by masks but I'd read good things about it, saw it while I was checking out, and decided to get it. Holy shit, it's a miracle in a jar. My face looks brighter, tighter, and my pores seem smaller every time I use this. It's pricey - the full size is $69, but I bought the $19 mini and have used it 4 times and expect to get 6 uses out of it. I'm totally hooked.

Yeah, I always use my Urban Decay primer and/or Milk.

I'll go for it--it's only $4 on sale right now. I often talk myself out of buying makeup more often than I actually buy makeup.

My husband is willing to buy me a palette for my birthday. I'm trying to decide which one to ask for. I really like the look of the various Stila palettes, the Lorac Pro palette, Smashbox Full Exposure, as well as the Too Faced Chocolate Bar. Too many choices!

I don't think you could go wrong with most of those. The Stila ones look nice, but I find the color payoff isn't as great as other palettes. The Lorac Pro is fantastic. It's my next buy. My friend has it, and the colors are so rich and creamy. The Chocolate Bar is great, but it definitely has some weird colors that I would never use, like the weird shimmery pink. It smells fantastic though. And you know how I feel about my Smashbox. :)

And this is why I posted here :) Thanks so much for the feedback. I'm thinking Lorac Pro for birthday, and I'll buy the Smashbox on my own.
