    I asked my coworkers what they'd eat if I baked it, so I'm going to paleoify a carrot - applesauce cake this weekend. And I'm going to drive to Lafayette to check out the farmers market and a paleo Cafe to get some baking ideas.

    My poor cake. Husband goes: "Oooh cake!" And tried to spread the frosting more before it was warm enough to do so. Tore off a huge chunk of a layer in the process. :( So we ended up with a layer of whipped ganache on top. Oh well. Still tasty.
