They look amazing! My daughter is fanatical about red velvet. She'd love those too!

I'm thinking I might have to make them as a surprise for my husband's lunches.

If you get to them before I do, let me know how they turn out.

Today might be a good day for a baking adventure as it's relatively cool. And this totally gives me an excuse to buy the double-pack of Nutella at Costco, amirite?

You should buy the double-pack of Nutella at Costco.
The double-pack of Nutella at Costco would really come in handy.
Just think of all the great things you could make if you bought the double-pack of Nutella at Costco.

I resisted. Walked right by it...and bought the new almond butter instead.

Your fortitude is to be admired. Over the past couple of weeks I've twice resisted the large bag of Ghirardelli dark chocolate 60% cacao at Sam's Club.

Personally, I don't see the obsession with nutella. Why not just call it "slightly nutty, chocolate sugar".

Never liked Nutella. I'm going to bake something yummy this weekend. I'm feeling inspired after the last episode of Masterchef.

Me too! Jaimee (I think that's how you spell her name?)'s brownies looked delicious, and I wanted to try the winner's honey cake. (Even though she appears to be a cunt of the highest degree)

I love baking. I haven't done much of it lately as I have lost my interest in all things kitchen. I think I am still trying to shake my last job from my psyche.

Last night I baked a hazelnut cake with chocolate icing. Made every bit from scratch. Even used a double boiler to melt the chocolate. My nanny wants to go to culinary school, so it was my chance to teach her how to use a stand mixer... The first time she has baked anything from scratch.
