    You call those colors?;)
A couple of weeks ago I bought a couple of ethernet splitters on Amazon.
2x RJ45 CAT 5 6 LAN Ethernet Splitter Connector Adapter PC
Total cost, for two of them, was $1.34 including free shipping from Hong Kong, which took 9 days.
I don't understand how they can do that.

I am not sure what people mean by matching their tie to their suit. I've always found that contrasting colours works well. The key for me, always, is to not be garish.

Also, how many of you sport a pocket square? I have been building a collection of them.

I dont follow the ties matching suit concept. Depending on the time and place, my ties are one of few items of clothing to make a statement.

I buy locally or when I travel and often from stores other than clothing establishments.

For clarification, that's what I meant by my comments. Not that I wear a grey tie with a grey suit, but that I will find colors that contrast well with the grey suit and whatever color shirt I wear.

I used to wear pocket squares, I don't really anymore. I think I still have a few in a drawer somewhere though. I've seen them worn a bit more lately.

    well,

for you boys that want to be in the trend... ties that are monochromatic with a dot pattern on top of a striped shirt is all the rage this season.

It looks better than you probably imagine. Well, it does if you have any sense of style at all. ;)

Following fashion trends, to me, always seemed like following investment/market trends: By the time you get to the party, it's usually too late.

it depends on the size of the bubble you reside in ;)

Like I said, I'm in a chambray kick atm, but as I had plenty of striped shirts and dot pattern ties, I made the party early :D

You'll be happy to know that cardigans are big too... but I already have plenty of them, certainly not as many as you, but enough for me.

I don't do pocket squares as I wear ties in an uptown urban look, not with a suit. I don't wear suits.

Yes. I'm unintentionally fashionable about once every ten years.

Well, my wife texted me that the first tie arrived.

It was orange and charcoal stripes, as described. The label says Georgio Armani. Somehow for $3.06 I'm guessing it's a fake. ;)

When I get back home tomorrow I'll try to remember to post a pic and give my thoughts. She says it appears to be of good quality.

can't say i'm a big fan of starkly contrasting colors on neckties. clip-ons for bowties are an absolute must. i'll give that ebay thing a shot though. thanks!
