    Well, if you think about it...you may be doing either...reaffirming it...or changing it...or both. Just like with Schrodinger's Cat.
    So the answer to your question is Yes, No AND Maybe. ;)

    However, in all seriousness (ignore this in this thread) ...if you think about the idea...it's really just an extreme or scalar example of classic physics.
    The fact that you are changing something just by observing it...means that your tool (even your eye) affects it in return.
    This translates into the principle of "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction"...which is Newtonian Mechanics,#3.

    Now, you may think about this, ignore it or both.
    But reality doesn't care...nor does your brain. :p
