    Knock your self out.

BTW you got the first half of my thought correct.

Something in your earlier posts tells me you're a closet cowgirls fan. You want them to win, but won't say so in case they lose, while waiting for them to win so that you can talk about how great they are.

How often do you choose a new team to root for? I've been a Texans fan since the start in 2002. What team have you openly rooted for over the past 13 years?

I never said the Texans would win every game.
Earlier in this thread I said, based on a quick look at their schedule, they could go 10-6, maybe even 12-4, with much depending on Osweiler.
I said Osweiler is a huge question mark.

The Texans have 13 more games to play. Will they win the games they should win (on paper), or will they implode? Time will tell.

Geez Lueez @ChrisNoyb calm down. I had some fun at your expense. My Dad was a big Cowboys fan, so I grew up watching them. And I really don't have a favorite team. Following football has turned into a high expectation socially. You see, I don't know the players or stats, coaches and all the details. So I'm not really a football fan in that way. I do enjoy a good game where both teams are working and emotions are running high. When AP signed with the Vikings I started rooting for them. Now S. Bradford is there so that's two Oklahoma boys. I don't really have a favorite sport of any kind. I do enjoy going to baseball games. And like sitting behind 1st base. At any rate, I have to get opinions from all over the place before I even make my weekly picks. So nope not a live and die fan of any team. You going to be okay? Hahaha

NFC East, a toilet bowl division where the least stinky turd can be champ:

I have to admit the cowgirls played well last night, but any hopes I had for the Bears to win went out the window when I heard the name Brian Hoyer. (Seriously? There are no other QBs out there the Bears could sign?). It's damn shame the Giants yet again blew a game they were in a great position to win. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the Eagles are 3-0. The 'girls have found new life behind Prescott, I hold no hopes of the Giants or the Eagles keeping the cowgirls from winning this division :(.

    --------------------------------------

In the NFL there appears to be a Four Game (more or less) Grace Period Theory for new QBs and/or new offensive schemes. After four games the improved team doesn't have anything new to show, and by then opponents have figured what the team is up to.

    In theory.

    ---------------------------------------

AFC South, another toilet bowl division where the least stinky turd can be champ:

Up for grabs, but the season is young. The Colts might turn it around, the Texans might implode. I don't the Jaguars or Titans as threats, but stranger things have happened. The Texans, with some extra prep time, face the Titans next in Houston. This could be just what the doctor ordered; OTOH a loss or even a squeaker win could trigger a downward spiral. I see this as a major test of the Texans mental toughness, a test they really need to pass impressively.

    ----------------------------------------

Yet again Fitz crashed and burned after flying high.

  5. NFC North: Have the Vikings served notice on the league? Are the Packers going to have win shootouts to survive? Can the Lions play 2 halves on the same day? Will the Bears win a game?

Okay, the Vikings are going 4 -0. I picked some underdogs to win at home. I certainly didn't see the Panthers at 1-2. The crazy nfl ya just don't know. On a personal note, I'd like to see that guy with the 49rs get fired from the NFL all together. There are a lot of problems in America but my heart pounds and I get a sense of pride every time the National Anthem is played. That fucker is disregarding the domestic and foreign sacrifices our soldiers have made. And he has been given a golden opportunity that few have ever seen. IMO

Kaepernick was already on thin ice. I guess that he figures he's on his way out of the NFL anyway.

Thank you, Jaguars. Maybe next time try scoring some TDs instead of settling for FGs.

Watt is out for the season. We'll see how the Texans handle it. Will the Titans be what the doctor ordered? They just kicked off to the Texans.

I purposely eliminated all of the Jags from my FF. Purely on principle. Fecking idjits.

The 6.5 y.o. client who is helping me manage my FF is totally kicking ass. I'm 2nd in the west. Yeah, Boi.

fflowley Don't just do something, stand there!

Wow what a game for the Bills. Shut out the Pats in Boston.
I must admit that is the worst game I have ever seen the Patriots play, and with Brady in the game it would have been a hell of a lot different.
We take what we can get.

    ;)
It was a good weekend for the Texans in the AFC South. They were very lucky to be playing the Titans instead of a good or even decent team. And the Jaguars helped by keeping the Colts deep in the cesspool.

The cowgirls pulled off another win. At least the Redskins also won. I didn't get excited when the 49ers went up 14-0, and sure enough they blew the game. I never realized that Gabbert had such horrible numbers.

Mentioning blowing, & sucking, how about those Dolphins? One TD. They're 1-3 in a division that includes the Patriots.

Mentioning the Patriots and sucking, so much for the genius of Belichick and his coaching staff.

@Rogue49 did you win week 4? And what does the line drawn through our score mean?

You did. Must have been the tie breaker...I think you picked a better score on the final 2 games. Congrats!
You can see the winners highlighted green on the Weekly Performance grid.

The crossed out lines are the lowest scoring week of the season dropped from your total.
It will change if you have a worse week.
I think it helps with the average or outliers...or just morale.

It's only week four...plenty of room to grow. :)
