Oh boy. Too bad for the Cubs. Well, anyway, it's back to Missouri for the Jays. I like to think we got the Royals just where we want them.

Saw this a couple days ago and it made me chuckle. After the Cubs were out, I was rooting for KC solely because of Cueto. Glad he got the win, though I'm still bummed we lost him. (KC also has Volquez, the dude on the left, and Jonny Gomes.)

I couldn't bring myself to cheer for KC after they defeated Toronto, but enjoyed watching all the games anyway. I've been a huge Jays fan since I was 10 years old, watching the 92 and 93 World Series, I was beyond stoked for the whole of October when I finally got to see them play in the post season again. It was awesome. Can't wait for next season. Hockey just doesn't give me the same buzz.

Same here - after giving up my season tickets post '94 strike, I couldn't get back into the new players like I did for the '92 & '93 teams. Those teams were the end product of the years from the Drive of '85, where the Jays also lost to the eventual World Series Champs - KC Royals again. This 2015 team just got everybody by surprise. Their obvious chemistry on the field - and off - really got the city behind them. It was a long time coming that's for sure. So while I'm a bit mollified that we lost to the eventual winners, I just KNOW that if we got past the Royals, the Mets would have been summarily dealt with.

Well there's next year to look forward to - or does this group disband ?

Welp, 2016 is already looking to be as bad as this season was for us. They're trading away our best players and not getting a whole hell of a lot in return. Chapman's gone, Frazier's gone, Phillips is likely to be next. I think Votto is the only one with a no-trade clause, and it's looking like they're getting rid of everyone else.

If they trade Bailey (not likely, but who knows at this point), I'm rioting.

Don't feel bad, the braves keep trading away good players as well.
