lets just say that the braves bullpen sucks this year

 

We're in the basement...but I get to see my boys of summer play the Mets tonight. In person! And there's going to be fireworks! *happy dance*

 

The Astros went on a losing streak at the worst possible time.

This season was painful. But, hey, All-Star Game. And Frazier won the Derby. Woooo.

So, uh...go Cubs, I guess. Would be pretty awesome if Back to the Future was right about the 2015 Series

 

I don't follow MLB, but I do know that the Astros start the POs (first time in 10 years!!) against a team that I despise, the new york yankees. If the Astros can eliminate the yankees, I'll be happy.

Oh well. Given how bad they were since Phil Garner & the WS appearance in 2005, the 2015 season was a major accomplishment.

Season ticket holder from '86 to '93 (until the cost of a family made it unreasonable) Last night's game (11-8 win over KC) put the Jays back into contention for the ALCS.

 

I guess that my leanings towards underdogs has me pulling for the Cubs.

Confession: I had to look to see if they're still alive in the POs.

 

Yes, I have to admit that my knowledge of the NL is not where it should be. I was thinking the Mets would be interesting as the 'team from NY that nobody ever sees play' but if the Jays (the underdog in the ALCS) can get to the big show, then meeting up with the Cubs would be fantastic. But scary because of the Back to the Future prediction of a Cubs series victory.

Mom & I were talking about the playoffs a couple days ago. I would love to see the Blue Jays vs the Cubbies in the Series (since the Reds didn't even make it to a playoff game.)

 

I only said scary because BTTF predicted a Cubs victory. But you are right, it would be Awesome!
