    Ok, it's Wednesday. Per your requests I have set up a league.

    Anyone is welcome. The only thing I ask is that if you do sign up you take the time to update your rosters once a week during the season. I have the scoring set for a very basic league. If there are any significant changes anyone wants, let me know and we can talk about it.

    5 teams and counting. A few more would be nice. If we can't entice the membership, I would not be opposed to recruiting a few outsiders to round out the league. They may find our forum to their liking, as well.

    We need at least one more to make it an even 6, which Yahoo will require (an even # of teams) before drafting. We have a few weeks, but if anyone else is interested let's get them signed up. :cool:

    I got an automated email from Jetee a couple of days ago inviting me to last year's league.
    There were already 4 other teams on there: Borla's Noggin, highjinx, Herpderp and Paper Tigers.
    "What does it all mean?" I ask, to no one in particular.

    I'll sign on with Jetee. It may be the only way to get him involved.

    As for this new league...a halfway serious proposal: a hands-off league. Set your draft preferences, then sit back and watch. Everyone autodrafts and the season plays out with no roster moves. Bye weeks come and go, injuries happen, we observe and comment but no substitutions, trades or add/drops. We set our world in motion, then let it evolve (or devolve) as it will.

    We've got the other league to wheel, deal and talk trash in.

    I have a couple of empty slots in my league if anyone is interested. Its a yahoo , head to head type deal. 12 teams with a traveling trophy. This is our 6th year together.

    Traveling trophy is a trophy that gets sent to the winner at the end of the season by the winner of the previous season. Previous years champ gets new champ's team name plated on the trophy.

    New champ takes a pic with the trophy and sends pic to the rest of the league as bragging rights kinda thing.

    Since we got the original TFP league up and running, because we had an odd number in the secondary league (which Yahoo doesn't allow), and to remove any confusion between leagues, I got rid of the secondary league. This way we can all stick to what we did last year.
