My shoulder hurts
I went trap shooting for the first time today My first three shots were perfect, clean breaks, but on the fourth I dropped my right elbow a bit and fucked up my shoulder. I got back into the right stance, but after one bad shot, I just made the bruise worse. On the positive side, I did hit about 50% of the time, so I'm happy. Can't wait for next Tuesday.

I used to shoot skeet when I was about 14 or 15. I was actually pretty good at it, but I just kinda fell out of it. I had a Mossberg 12ga over and under and a 20ga Benelli semi-auto that I shot with. It did hurt and bruise my shoulder the first couple of times I did it, but its very fun to do. I've thought about starting again with it, but I'm not sure. I enjoy shooting pistols and rifles more now.

Trapshooting is fun. I like to use my Browning pump 10 ga. (I don't think it kicks hard, but everyone else calls me a crazy sumbitch), because sometimes on doubles I need just a little more reach.
I learned on an H&R 12 ga. single shot. It didn't matter how you were holding it, it was gonna smack the bejeezus out of you.
