I just got a crossbow. It has a 150 lb bow. I was wondering if any of y'all have fucked around with one of these bad boys and if you could give me any usefull info on em.

Is this a modern crossbow, or a historical replica- I have built 3 historical models, but have no experience with the new ones......

I've also got a 150lb crossbow. Open sights on it are kinda hokey and I haven't picked up a scope for it yet. The bolts hit with serious force and are capable of richocheting out of your yard. Yes, I know from firsthand experience. Find a very large, very thick backstop when you try to sight it in. They're as serious as a gun.

echo the above- also, a lot of archery ranges will not allow the more powerfull crossbows for the above reasons.....
