New Knife

Bought a new knife the other day. I think I'm going to use it mostly for camping, but it will be useful for everyday tasks too.

Looks solid, also looks slender in the grip, which I appreciate. I can't stand folders with needlessly wide handles.

Another thing I liked was the release on the inside of the knife, its a new thing for me and I kind of like it, every folding knife I've ever used had the release on the outside.

Yes it is the monochrome. I got it at EMS on a "15% off anything with a lethal edge" sale.

I got that one for my birthday in February. The non-serated version.
Great feel and design. I love the release as well.
Too bad it didn't come in a better grade steel. It doesn't stand up to my regular use too well.

Really? Most of my knives are liner-lock, I like 'em.
Of course, most of my knives cost 5$ and seem to have been made in someone's garage metal shop. It seems like making a spring like that would be easier; three layers, one bent:
