Sniper Version SKS...
I have a Norinco SKS with a site mounted side rail. This gun, when paired next to another Norinco of the identical size, is 2 pounds heavier. Its supposed to be a very limited sniper production. Its FKN dead nuts accurate. I go out with friends and split glow sticks at 150 yards on iron site w/o much problem. I'm writing on these boards because I want to know if anyone has ever come across another one. I've since been to about eleven gun shows and have never found another.

Can you see any difference between the two guns? Also, what is the age difference between them? This might help: http://www.simonov.net/uberid.htm

Not to sure what the age difference is. The only difference is that I have a site rail mounted on the left side of the gun. It's designed for one of the quick detach scopes. I have never seen another SKS like this. Just in case your wondering
, the rail is factory. Its not a add-on. I will read through that site tomorrow when I'm not drunk. Thanks for posting it. J
