I enjoy SGH and have been shooting at the range for awhile now. Every time I go though I rent a shotgun and now I have decided to buy one. I was wondering about which companies make good over-under shotguns. Do you guys have any suggestions?

How much are you willing to spend?

Silver Seits will sell you probably "the best" over under or any other kind of shotgun you want for upwards of 10k$ to 30k$

I was hoping to keep it around $1,000 or less, but I really don't know how much guns are worth.

Also, the Silver Seitz look nice but are way out of my price range.

I'd go with the good ole remingtons or winchesters. You really can't go wrong with people who have been making amazing guns for over a century.

I personally own a .870 Express and a .870 Wingmaster. Neither are over under. They are pump guns, but quality is fantastic as I'm sure it will be with their over/unders too.

Wow the Remington Model 332 looks nice and it's probably what I'm going to buy. Unfortunatly it's a touch out of my price range right at the moment. So I guess I'll save up for a bit longer for it. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Oh check out some gun shops around where you live. Guns are one of those things that people take very good care of, when they trade a gun in or sell it to a gunshop, they are 9 out of 10 times a very good gun still.

And it'll be a decent chunk cheaper.
