What is your favorite gun?
Of all the guns you own, which is your favorite?
http://www.hk-usa.com/pages/civilian...p45compact.jpg Mine is my HK USPc .40. Lots of features, very concealable, and looks bad-ass. |
Currently, Glock-17.
If I have said it once, I've said it a million times: Beretta
Colt Model 1911 .45 nuf said.
Bushmaster DCM model AR15.

I don't own a gun, but my favourite gun is a IMI Desert Eagle .50 AE
Too many to name.
A good, smooth shooting .357 is always nice. I really enjoy shooting revolvers, and can sit down with a bucket of .38s or .357s (magnums make this a bit more...uncomfortable) and shoot for hours just taking my time loading 6 in, squeezing 'em off nice and easy, or in short bursts, and then doing it all over again. Something like a nice 5 1/2" or 6" S&W http://firearms.smith-wesson.com/sto...sw_activeTab=1 or for something with a little more kick, maybe a nice smooth Redhawk in 44 or even a sweet ass kicking 454 casull http://www.ruger-firearms.com/Firear...=5508&return=Y |

Glock 17
The Walther P99 is the best feeling handgun in my opinion.
Spanxxx: I love the 686P. It is on my list of must have guns.
As for my personal fivorite, it changes with every new gun I get. Right now it is my Makarov. Sweet little shooter. |

My P7M8.. Heckler & Koch, no compromise.
My Smith and Wesson model 66 nickle plated .357 mag with a 6" barrel.
Lee Enfield Mk4 Longbranch.
http://members.optushome.com.au/lee-...ages/DCRA2.jpg As much as I love my M4, .308, and so on, there is something so incredible about this rifle. It drives tacks. Its fun to shoot. And I love military weapons. As far as handguns, I love the Walther P99 and Sig 226. Although a good ol' Dirty Harry is an impressive gun as well. |
Randall's M1911. It's a little hard on magazines (those damned cracks on the magazine lips), but this gun is made to be abused. Excellent aircraft stainless (no galling). It's survived for weeks without a proper cleaning; through sand with a salt water rinses, cold weather, and desert conditions with an occasional dry swab.
Full length spring guide, nice stock sights. If are persisternt, you may be able to find one. They made made several variants (LeMay model, lefties...), too. Here's a link to the M1911.Org Randall page |
S&W 629, 4" barrel, target sights.
S&W M-686. I would get rid of every gun in my collection before I would part with my old faithful wheelgun. Nothing quite a nice as a good revolver.
My S&W Model 57 .41 Magnum, 8 3/8 barrel.
Mine is my .22 pistol.
It is like this, I live in Alaska (The Cool Part not Anchorage) and I go ATVing with BOO. Well when we see a bear I will Shoot BOO in the leg and ride away..BEAR BATE! |
20 posts, 6 of which were talking about S&W revolvers.
Coincidence? =) |

My favorite gun that I own is an armalite AR10. 20" stainless barrel, black housing, flat top (A-2?), sweet Nikon Scope on it. I love it. |
psg1 all the way! best snipper riffle! as for a hand gun, i'd pick something like a glock or a beretta or .357....

Baby Eagle 45.ACP Carrys great plenty of knock down power and most important of all......I can hit what I aim at,Most of the time.
S&W 686. I love revolvers. I punch bucketloads of .38's through mine.
Has anyone ever had one of the old Iver Johnson Pony .380s? It looked like a baby 1911. I couldn't resist getting one. It was a load of fun, and relatively cheap to feed using reloads purchased from the range.

Kimber .45 Custom....
Walther PPK.
I like my black one better than my stainless one for some reason. |
Hmm close one... between my nazi marked K98k and my .410 Enfield converted to single shot .410 for prison guard duty
A well-made 1911. Springfield Arms makes some incredible 1911's; their "GI" model is a steal at the current price.
My favorite is by far my Charles Daly 1911. Stainless with extended beaver tail. Before I purchased this gun I had shoot but wasn't addicted, since I purchased this gun I try to shoot at least 100 rounds weekend.
i agree with cheesebuttons, the walther p99 rocks in your hand and is nice to carry as well
The Colt Single-Action Army. Greatest handgun ever made. Six bullets, more than enough to kill anything that moves.
I don't own any yet, and I haven't fired them, but going by the feel and looks of what I've looked at at the "local" gun store, MY favorite rifle is the PSG-1 (although the H&K SL8 is badass-looking and feels pretty good) and my favorite pistol is the Sig Sauer P232 (which will most likely be my concealed carry weapon next year.)
Unfortunetly I'm a poor college student and haven't bought any real guns yet, But I do own an airsoft replica of a Walther P99 and have handled a real one as well, and I think it has the best ergonomics of any gun I've ever held.
German Luger P.08 Its damn near 100years old and still kicks!
I have two favorites:
- Colt Python 357 Magnum - Walther P5 Compact |
For my favorite rifle, I would have to go with my AR-15. For my favorite handgun, the Glock 17 hands down.
