the full size UZI for a submachine gun
the AK-47 for a full sized rifle mostly because of reliability

anda good ol' 1911 for a handgun. .45 of course ;)

My Ruger 10/22 It was my father's gift for my 11 birthday.
I can toss out a (BEER/SODA or POP) can and hit it out to 40yds from the hip. And to 100yds when I aim.

My favorite is a Remington Lever Action 22, got a scope on it that I use for plinking.

I did get to shot the AK-47 once off the side of a carrier while at sea. My dad got it from a marine who took it off a dead VC in Vietnem, along with a M-2 Carbine (still in cosmoline) and a .357 Python. Was a really simple rifle to shot, very robust.

Different weapons for different jobs.

Handgun - Cant pick just one.

Colt .45 has a great feel

Browing Hi-power, the original high capacity 9mm, known world wide and favored by the SAS, and other elite units.

Berratta .40 is my favorite modern choice.

Rifles, a Garand 30-06, or Springfield .308 Cal.

You can "reach out and touch someone" with either.

the mp5 with integral silencer...just deadly in close quarters and then of course the psg1 was called out a few times...

For the feel, balance, and sheer joy of shooting a handgun, my Model 1911 Colt Ace 22 LR, just can't be beat. Inexpensive to shoot also helps!

I have a Kahr P9. I love that gun.

Ok...I'm a nut. But my favorite "carry: is my Parker .45 stainless steel. As much as I am a fan of the AR-15 (M16), you can't conceal it.
I recently purchased the HI Point 9mm and LOVE it. As cheap as it was, it is an excellent hand gun (wife's)

Then I went out and bought the Hi Point 9mm Urban Assult Rifle. It too is frickin awsome. Well worth the money.

I also carry a SW 38. special 6 shooter on ocassion. It is the most accurate hand gun I own.

I have over 24 guns. Some are just slugs, but most perform to expectations. (SKS 7.62mm) frickin great. (30 round clip)

I should be careful on how I post this, or I will have the FTA knockin on the door. LOL (J/K)

Oh..ya...in my house.....nothin short of a 1000 rounds of 7.62 or 9mm, remains here. Does this make me Waco? Nah......well I don't think so! huh.
