My weapon
bouncy balls go 530 mph ~ 774 fps
http://longshotsgtc.mypicgallery.com/ there are the pics, tell me what u think pneumatic powered, up to 100psi. patented valve by the way, don't try anything funny |
It looks like a potato gun. Bet that's fun with the pneumatic stuff. I still love the good old flames coming out the back end of a potato gun.

it does look like a potato gun... but lets say you shoot a bouncy ball at the sidewalk from 30 feet high... how high would it bounce going 774 fps, thats the real question!
|
Nice gun. Would look great mounted on top a station wagon =) I made a pneumatic one as well except I just used a schraeder valve and a hydraulic valve. That and instead of PVC everything was galvanized pipe. Taking no chances =) Also allows for interchangeable barrels and chambers. With a 10"x2" chamber compressed at 100psi it shot a marble 4" into a styrofaom archery block from 20' away.
By the way, is that orange surface fiberglass? and what is embedded in it? |
Ah, memories of potato cannons. Although ours were considerably less complex

Hahhaha that thing is cool. It, too, reminds me of building potato guns in highschool. Working in the product department of the local grocery store definately paid off :)
