I am wondering about taxes, legality, availability, and trusted suppliers for ammo.

Last edit: I am trying to find a better deal than local. I see adds for ammo, but am concerned about getting my moneys worth after shipping, and I don't want a bunch of grief about buying ammo from out of state.

Most websites have a similar statement. Other than that, check out the website. Most sites have no taxes, but they will jack up the shipping charge, because it is a dangerous material.

Local laws determine shipping rules for ammo. It is not a Federal crime, if that is what you're asking. Check your local laws (or just ask your prospective seller if they ship to your area).

I ahve bought from cheaperthandirt.com and cabelas. No taxes are charged but they did charge a small fee because it is an explosive. When you do by online though make sure you know exactly what you are getting.
