If I can find an AR lower that's legal in CT, I'm going to build one with a .50BMG upper next summer. If not, I'm getting a Serbu BFG-50. |

Just bought it.. my first and only, for right now.
I'm getting a lot of shit that I should lose my liberal membership card for owning a gun, but alas no, I think I can hold on to both. Seems to kick a hell of a lot more than the .45 govt..

Damn JinnKai that looks like my gun but I have it chambered in .38 super and its a fullsize Government model. I love that stainless look, though.
I'll have to take some pictures of my babies. I have a S&W 686, Colt Government .38 Super, and a Henry Goldenboy. |

Very nice rifle & pistol. Is that a SBR'd 14.5" AR--what brand? DD free float rail right? What type of sling you using? How do you like the CTR? (Feel free to ignore any or all of these questions).
What about the night-hawk. Are they worth the premium? Here's the two guns I have most trigger time on--figure I might as well post my guns. I'll do the whole awesome magazines and bullets/magazine cover photo shoot some other time |

It's a frankenstein gun I put together. 14.5" LMT upper w/ a Larue mid-length free-float rail. Doublestar lower (I have never seen much reason to spend much money on lowers). I am trying out one of the new magpul butt stocks and a Blue Force Vickers sling (?). I am not trying to go the SPR route with it, I still have the Mil-profile barrel, and an EOTECH. I plan on putting a good trigger in but I don't want to compromise reliability or safety so I am holding off until I can get a Geisselle SSA.
I have been using a Vltor Sling and I really like those, I am trying this one out now because It doesn't leave a long dangly piece of sling when I cinch it up. I really like the nighthawk and it has performed well for me (though I initially had to send it back due to an issue with the sear) and it hates Wilson Combat mags. The pistol is a work of art. The trigger has absolutely zero creep, almost zero over travel, and minimal reset. It breaks right at about 4 lbs (I wanted it more for defensive use than competition). It is on a caspian frame with the integral mag well which I really like as it is not as obnoxious as most mag wells, is rounded a bit more, and doesn't stick out so far I cannot rip the magazine out if I have a double feed.
