hunk of shit, piece of crap, "The back-ache", 'da nug, and "why the hell do I carry, I live in one of the safest towns in the country?"
|
Hmmm... This has me thinking. I haven't ever named any of my firearms. The one I carry with me the most (in my vehicles due to carrying laws here) is a .357 Magnum, 6" Barrel, Blued... it's a beauty! I absolutely love it. I have several other revolvers and a few 9MM that I keep around the house. I, unlike debaser, don't live in a very safe town...lol! Needless to say, I'm covered if the situation ever arises.

The only name I had was for my USP Compact when a flat spring failed - I called it a "piece of s**t." It's a good design but the idea that the item might have failed in the field pissed me off. Reliability is paramount in these things and it's like a GF cheating on you - You can fix all the problems but you'll never feel 100% trust again. My Glock hasn't failed me at all and it's seen more rigorous use. - Ziadel I got your message BTW - I sent a belated response. |

If you are, indeed, military, unless you are an MP or CID, or have been assigned permanent guard duty, you wouldn't be carrying simply because your assigned weapon is locked away in an arms rack, and the ammo for said piece is buried in a locked and guarded ammo bunker some miles out in the lonelies. Thus, you are certainly a fortunate man to reside in one of the safest towns in the country. You'd be SOL, if you didn't. Quote:

Unless I has a SWD, or was living off post, or in the guard/reserves, or any number of other circumstances...
