WUSB11 1.0 Network Adapter Installation

Hey Everyone,

This may sound stupid, but how do you configure WUSB11 1.0 Network Adapter (the oldest version) to work on Windows 98 or Windows XP if I don't have the CD software that orginally came with the device?

I've plugged in the device into the USB port, but what do I have do next to actually setup a wireless network with my router BEFW11S4 V4.

Thanks,
HeyAgain

Is the adapter also a Linksys? Check and see if there is some sort of model number, manufacturer's name or FCC# on it. You can also install/run Sisoft Sandra to see if the device can be identified. Once you identify it, you can then search for appropriate driver. You can't set up your network until the driver is installed. Sometimes you need to install drivers before plugging it in.
