Need help with Ti-89 calc.
Somehow i got stuck in sometype of program inside the calculator and I seem to can't quit the program or something.
Like when i type 2+2 it gives me 0h4.If type 100 + 2, it switchs 100 to 100. and gives me the answer as 102. I just want it go back to the way i had with it.When i put 2+2 in there it will give me 4. |
Did your calculator come with a manual? If you reset your Calculator, it will default to the settings that were on the calculator when you bought it.

Well, the 0h4 means it is showing you the result in hexadecimal base. Press MODE (one of the main buttons) and scroll down to find 'Base' and change it back to DEC (for decimal). Or just take the batteries out for a while and then put them back in (give it some time, maybe). That should reset things. Hope this helps, and keep us updated.

Thank you very much. It did come with a manual,I was flipping through it and I couldn't find the reset. But thanks for some type of feed back. Now i can finally use it,these things are a pain in the butt because the print is soo damn small and when your messing with numbers that's something you don't want. |
