Restoring a External Harddrive.
Okay, so here's the situation. Last week my laptop starts giving me shit, so I take it in to the apple store.
The guy tells me I have a fatal hardware error on my hard drive, that he can't get the disk to spin. So he tells me that I will lose my files. That's okay, I says, because I had backed up my HD for when I upgraded to tiger. But then I remember that I had deleted it, but never wrote over it. So he says I can download some program, and it'll restore the files onto the drive, since they're still there supposedly. Well, I sent my laptop in the next day, and I got it back today. And now I have no idea what the program was called. So to you, wise TFPer's, please give me some programs that you've used, or still use, for what I'm trying to do. Thanks.
