I personally prefer the moox optimized ff builds. Much faster if you have an SSE2 proc.

Lynx!? but then there is no porn And I love my porn

I've used firefox for quite awhile now, the only thing I find wrong with it is stability issues which are supposedly bettered in this release.

Then use links with graphics support. Faster than most things and porn enabled...

Wow, I figured lynx was just text based. Guess I have to give it a try now.

$ links -g www.porn-site.com

It's a great way to surf websites without worrying about your browser getting killed by spyware, adware, viruses, etc. and get down to what you want - a simple webpage with pictures.

It's also ridiculously fast, which is always a plus.

Anyone surfing on HTTP (HTML) for porno pics is a sucker anyway . That's what NNTP (usenet) is for.

I lurve FF. My only gripe about it, and its not really FF's fault, is the websites that STILL don't work with it. SprintPCS.com always bombs out, and never in the same place twice.

I shall try this when they get the 1.0.5 build! FF is fast, but if it can be faster, then why not let it be that way?

Can you get Lynx to work in XP? I try to run the make file but it tells me I need gcc headers, which I am downloading now.

Oh, and thank you holo those optimized FF builds are kickass.

Download Cygwin and you can run lynx (and it's better cousin links) through the command prompt you get through there.

blah who needs all those "other" browsers when you got IE right there (non-windows users excluded cuse you suck). I mean when did everyone decide I didn't want pop-ups, spyware, browser hi-jacking, security holes, and the like? But everyone has to be unique and use those "other" browsers and tell me IE is horrid just because if this and that.

Note: This whole post has been made with sarcasm in mind, please do not be offended by the fact that IE truely is horrid. It is not my choice to have it called that but fact remains that it is. Children and computer illiterate beware pop-ups, spyware, browser hi-jacking, security holes, and the like are all bad. You do not want any of them, they are not good things, stay away from them even if it means putting a bullet into your modem, monitor, or computer.

Note 2: Putting a bullet into your modem, monitor, and/or computer may cause it fail, shatter, spark, arc, or otherwise do dangerous and/or bad things. I do not encourage or recommend such action. If you preceed I won't be responsible for your internet, monitor, or computer not working. Please gun violence is not necessary especially against your computer.
