23"-27" LCD - Need suggestions.
 

Our TV died upstairs a few weeks ago, and after buying our LG screen for downstairs, I've pretty much decided to spend the money and get a nice TV for upstairs in the bedroom.

I haven't done much looking yet. But I've been looking at an LG 23" for around 1100, and a couple others, to name a few, Toshiba and Sony, which neither I was impressed with. I do have an HDTV feed to my house, and spend alot of time watching the few channels we do get in HD.

So.. I'm lookin for somthing less then 1400-1500, perferbly 27", but would like to go to 32". 23" is fine too, but 27" would be mucho nicer.

Don't know what to buy, don't know where to start. Our LG is a DLP and nothing compared to it among Panasonic, Toshiba or Sony. Nothing was even close, price wise, or quality. I'd like an LG, but not married to it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check out Dell. While their 24" widescreen LCD doesn't have a tv tuner I think it isn't hard to add one. Also their LCD TVs can be had for a great price if you watch and wait for the best deals and stackable coupons.

I love my 20" widescreen Dell monitor.

Gateway has a nice 26" one for $999 right now, which is a pretty good deal as my family paid quite a bit more for ours a while back.

I also have a 20" Dell monitor, not the widescreen one, but the 2001FP, and it is also very nice.

24 inch dell is $779 right now

Look at the Samsung LCD panels, they are looking pretty damn good to me.
