A little help
 

Now I did a search on deleting but I'm not very computer literate and didn't know what I was looking for. If this is a re-post of something please just let it slide so I can get some help. Heres my problem it's small but annoying.

I haven't been able to access a specific page for days now. It's my myspace.com page. I go to the login box, enter my details and hit login in and it takes me RIGHT back to the login page. No one else seems to be having this problem and the website still hasn't mailed me back. My friend checked it out on his computer and he's able to log in to my page. So I figure it must be something wrong with mine.

I deleted my cookies to the site, and my history to see if that would change it but that didn't work. I was also told something about temporary internet files that should be deleted as well but I don't know how to do that. And I have a Mac.

I can view profiles there, even those on my friends list and view my own profile through their friends lists so my page is still there. I just can't access it. It's been bugging the hell out of me because I have messages and I can't read them nor can I add any new "friends" so to speak.

If this is a stupid question then sorry, close the thread. If you can help at all then please do so I would really appreciate it.

Which browser? Does this happen with Firefox and IE?

Hmm come to think of it. I've only tried this with my IE. I haven't tried it on my Netscape browser yet.

Nope can't log in on either. I dunno what the hell is going on. If it was a problem with their site, then my friend wouldn't have been able to log into my page either. It has to be something wrong with my browsers or something. Confusing :|

change your password. trust me. it happened to me. it's some sort of msn protection deal. my password was simple and now it's 15character and it works. i dunno.
if it still does it, then i dont know why. let me know if its fixed.

Well I could change my password if it would let me log on but I can't log on. At all. Right now it's an 8 character password

if you still can't get in, try it on another computer....if that doesn't work, your space may have been deleted.

it probably wasn't deleted.. try going to a friend's profile and click on "more pictures" or something else that requires a log-on. Enter your info and try that. It worked for me once. Of course I deleted the myspace stuff. You could also try the "forgot my password" function and make sure it has the same one listed. If that doesn't work then email the people in support and see what they say.

I've tried all that. Even e-mailed the people in support who never responded back to me. My friend logged onto my account the other day. I have been able to reach my profile through people on my friends list. I've clicked on view more pictures, typed in the log in info and still I can't sign in. Yesterday I tried to log in and they said that that feature was temporarily unavailable and that it was undergoing maitenance and not to e-mail them about it. So I figure great that must have been what was wrong and they're fixing it now. It wasn't I just tried again and I still can't log in.

I dunno what the hell is going on but it's only happening to me. It has to be something wrong on my computer that I have to fix.

EDIT: I just asked my friend to change my password for me and that still didn't work I still can't get on.

Perhaps your IP is blocked. Can someone with a laptop try to log in at your place (IP)?

No idea. But why would my IP be blocked? I didn't break any rules or anything of the sort to be blocked out.

do you have a firewall or ad blocking software running? Either/both of these may stop your browser correctly sending your authorisation. If you do, try turning them off to see whether that helps, and if it does, then we need to see if we can tweak the settings of these things to make it work.

It musta been something with the site. It was doing the same thing to Bernadette and now all of a sudden it finally let me on.
