new Netscape 8.0
before I download it does anyone know if it is as good as they say, truly combining IE and Firefox?
I have issues with Netscape last time I downloaded I ended up with weatherbug and all kinds of little "extra" add-ons I didn't want. I like netscape as a browser but will not use nor download it if I get all these add-ons.

My response is, "I like to put forks in an eletrical socket, just LOVE that feeling, can't ever get enough of it, so will you let me put this copper fork in that electric socket?" |

it's by AOL, no thanks. AOL has a knack for bundling more than what you want with their products, ie. what you mentioned about weatherbug, etc.
I'll stick with my opensource Firefox.

I also heard that this can cause normal IE to break, or not be upgraded. Something like that.
Give it a shot if you want, but maybe create another user account and install it in there first (assuming you can install it in the user's space only, and don't need admin) |
